"Monastery of Agios Georgios Ilion" The nunnery of Agios Georgios is located in a panoramic location, on Mount Telethrio, between Mount Valanti with an altitude of 883 meters and Mount Gymno with an altitude of 748 meters.

The location chosen for the monastery is unique, in the arms of the mountain with a view of the vastness of the sky and the sea. In the monastery there are holy relics of Saints: Georgios, Marinis, Mamandos and Kyriakis.

"Temple and Tabernacle of Saint John the Russian" Saint John the Russian was born in a village in Southern Russia, around 1690, to virtuous and faithful Orthodox parents. In the years of Peter the Great, he took part in the Russo-Turkish War of 1710 and 1711 and was captured by Tatars. They, in turn, sold him to an Ottoman officer, Hipparchus, who lived in Prokopi, Cappadocia, in Asia Minor.

"Holy David Monastery" Hosios came from Gardinitza. He became a monk while still young. He was the abbot of the Varnakovi Monastery, practiced asceticism on Mount Steirion and was tested by the Ottoman lord of Livadeia. "Uncle led by the Spirit", he went to Evia, where he built a Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord, in a place where an earlier Church existed, near the village of Rovies, and "completely built a monastery", to which many monks soon flocked.
