Edipsos emerges as a top tourist destination for Greeks. In this context, the Municipality of Istiaia-Edipsos is attempting to open up the Greek tourist market, with the aim of making the wider destination of North Evia even more well-known, while presenting its innumerable advantages.
In a special event held in Athens, the Municipality of Istiaia-Edipsos and the Association of Hotels and Baths of Edipsos, addressed an open invitation to the country's tourist public to visit the area of Edipsos, and by extension North Evia, with its unparalleled beauty and unique alternatives tourism products and Value for Money services.
As the Mayor of Istiaea-Edipsos, Mr. Ioannis G. Kontzias notes:
"The Municipality of Istiaia - Edipsos has a unique geomorphological relief and a rich cultural and historical background for every traveler who wants to visit it. The multiple forms of tourism developed in the area satisfy every general and special interest of the visitors. It is a place that can and wants to stimulate travel interest all year round.
